IoT Misr announced a partnership agreement with Phosphorus Cybersecurity to strengthen cybersecurity protection for internet-connected devices and IoT infrastructure in the Egyptian market.
The partnership focuses on securing connected devices and systems, including industrial control systems, smart cameras, routers, switches, and printers, through automated device discovery, vulnerability assessment, password management, configuration updates, and continuous monitoring against cyber threats.
The collaboration also aims to support organizations in managing and securing xIoT environments, which include a wide range of connected devices such as surveillance systems, building management systems, digital displays, and access control technologies.
Amr Nour, Chairman of IoT Misr, said the partnership represents a major step toward bringing advanced IoT cybersecurity technologies to Egypt through integrated solutions that help organizations discover, manage, and secure connected devices without requiring complex infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Osama Al-Zaabi, Vice President of Phosphorus for the Middle East and Africa, stated that the collaboration will enhance cybersecurity protection across Egyptian institutions amid the rapid growth of connected devices and smart technologies.
