Mohamed Fayed Saleh, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, has issued a decision appointing Mohamed Ayad as Assistant Minister for Promotion and Strategic Communication at the Ministry of Investment.
The ministerial decree also included additional appointments:
- Ali Azab as Assistant Minister for Legislative and Legal Affairs
- Said Arefa as Assistant Minister for Investment Contracts
- Eng. Sherif Yehia as Assistant Minister for Development and Digital Transformation
Mohamed Ayad brings over 30 years of experience in economic media and non-banking financial sectors, along with extensive government and institutional communication expertise.
He previously served as Head of Media and Institutional Communication at the Financial Regulatory Authority Egypt for more than eight years, where he contributed to strengthening financial awareness in non-banking services and enhancing cooperation with government entities to support transparency and governance.
The appointments aim to strengthen the ministry’s institutional performance and improve the investment climate by leveraging experienced leadership across key economic and regulatory functions.
